Warranty & Policies

  • The core is the old part that is replaced by the part purchased from Diesel Injection Service.
  • The charge for each injector core is listed on the corresponding product page.
  • Customers may return cores at the time of purchase of the replacement part, to avoid paying a core charge. Otherwise, a core charge is required prior to fulfillment of your order.
  • Cores must be returned intact and in rebuildable condition. Diesel Injection Service reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to return cores that are not intact or damaged and to deny credit for those cores.
  • To prevent damage during shipping, cores must be returned in the original packaging, with protective caps in place.
  • Credit will only be given for cores that are the same model as the replacement part purchased from Diesel Injection Service. Until Diesel Injection Service receives each returned core, in an acceptable condition, the core belongs to the customer and is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Cores must be returned within 30 days of the original order date. Core credit will be discounted by 25% for cores returned after 30 days.  Core credit will be discounted by 50% for cores returned after 60 days. Cores will be ineligible for credit after 90 days.

A shipping label is included for your convenience.  Please use a new shipping box if necessary.  If the shipping label is lost, return shipping costs then become the responsibility of the customer.  Cores may be returned by UPS, USPS, FEDEX, or any other reliable means.  The customer should decide whether insurance should be obtained on returned cores.  A completed and signed core card must be returned with cores in order to expedite core refund.  Diesel Injection Service will process core deposit refunds upon receipt and inspection.

Refunds will be issued to original source of payment.

Please allow up to 7 business days after cores are returned for credits to be posted to your account.

All orders placed before 5:00 pm PST Monday-Friday will be shipped within 1 business day.

Please call or email us for expedited shipping options, including international shipping.

All orders over $500.00 will require a signature upon delivery.

 

RETURN POLICIES:

 

To ensure your satisfaction, we allow our customers to return unused products, subject to the following:

You may return an item purchased from Diesel Injection Service for 30 days from the date of the original invoice, subject to payment of a 15% restocking fee, provided that the item has not been installed or used.  No refunds will be given on products that have been installed or used.

To return an item, you must first request an authorization number from Diesel Injection Service.  To obtain an authorization number, please call 1 (909) 885-0590, and provide the following information:  the number on the original invoice; the part number; the quantity being returned; and an explanation regarding why the item is being returned.

Refunds will be processed upon receipt, inspection of goods and confirmation that they have not been installed or used and are in resalable condition.  Return shipping costs are your responsibility and the original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

 

WARRANTY POLICIES:

 

Diesel Injection Service assumes no liability regarding the improper installation, improper product selection or misapplication of its products.  It is the installer’s responsibility to properly install the products.

Buyer specifically acknowledges that the components purchased may require additional components to be properly installed and improper installation of the additional components will void the warranty.  Buyer acknowledges that proper maintenance, which includes but is not limited to, changing of fuel filter and oil filters, must be performed as recommended by the original manufacturer or the warranty is void.

ALL WARRANTY RETURNS MUST HAVE AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.  YOU MUST CALL DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE TO OBTAIN AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (NO EXCEPTIONS).  DISASSEMBLING OR TAMPERING WITH PRODUCTS WILL VOID ALL WARRANTIES.  NO WARRANTY OR REFUND WILL BE ISSUED IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT RETURNED TO DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE, SHIPPING PREPAID AND ACCOMPANIED BY A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE.  THE WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE AND IS ONLY VALID TO ORIGINAL PURCHASER.

Except as otherwise provided below, Diesel Injection Service offers a limited warranty for each of its products against defects in manufacture and/or materials.  The warranty period (the “Warranty Period”) is as follows: (i) all remanufactured products bearing a “silver” designation will have a one (1) year warranty from the date of the original invoice and (ii) all remanufactured products bearing a “gold” designation will have a two (2) year warranty from the date of the original invoice.  In both cases, the warranty shall apply only to the parts contained in the product.  If during the Warranty Period any of our products fails to function as designed and not as a result of outside damage, improper installation or fuel contamination, Diesel Injection Service will either repair or replace the component, with Diesel Injection Service retaining sole discretion regarding the option selected.

 

THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS BASIS AND WITH NO WARRANTY EXCEPT THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE, ITS DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, OFFICERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES WHATSOEVER TO ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY ARISING FROM THE INSTALLATION OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS, WHICH SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE’S LIABILITY IN ALL EVENTS IS LIMITED TO, AND SHALL NOT EXCEED, THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR ANY PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO ANY LIABILITY.

NOTE:  WE HAVE DETERMINED THE USE OF ALTERNATIVE FUELS IS DAMAGING TO THE FUEL SYSTEM.  THE USE OF ANY BIODIESEL OR ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE FUEL IMMEDIATELY VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES. DAMAGE CAUSED BY CONTAMINATED FUEL ALSO WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED PRODUCTS.

 

Diesel Injection Service shall be in no way responsible for the improper use of its products and services and by purchasing any of the products, you hereby waive all rights, other than those expressly written herein.

 

ANY PRODUCT RETURNED FOR WARRANTY CONSIDERATION THAT TESTS WITHIN APPLICABLE SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE ASSESSED A $40 FEE FOR CLEANING AND TESTING AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE CUSTOMER AT THE CUSTOMER’S EXPENSE.  ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE BE LIABLE FOR ANY LABOR CHARGED OR TRAVEL TIME INCURRED IN DIAGNOSIS FOR THE DEFECTS, REMOVAL, OR REINSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER EXPENSES.

NO LABOR, DOWN TIME, TOWING, TRAVEL, LODGING OR ANY OTHER EXPENSE IS COVERED.  IN THE EVENT YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS, YOU MAY RETURN THE PRODUCT TO DIESEL INJECTION SERVICE AS PROVIDED ABOVE, IN UNUSED CONDITION, WITH PROOF OF YOUR PURCHASE, WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE FOR A FULL REFUND.  THE INSTALLATION OF OUR PRODUCT INDICATES THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND ACCEPT ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

ALL REMANUFACTURED INJECTION COMPONENTS CARRY A 1-YEAR WARRANTY.
